The process of turning is, as its name implies, a series of actions carried out on a workpiecw while it turns. This can be achieved on between 2 and 5 axes to make complex shapes and components.

Computer Numerical Control (CNC) of lathes is the most efficient means of ensuring that output is both accurate and reproducible. Having said that, like a car, it may be automatic, but you still have to be a good driver to get the best out of it.

With many years of experience in programming and operating such machinery, you can be confident that Lumley Engineering can quickly, efficiently and accurately produce prototypes, test batches and production quantities of your design from your own CAD files, 2D or 3D drawings.
